This week I looked at ArcGIS again because I want to use it in one of my projects for my sociology seminar. I plan on mapping different public transportation systems across the US and figuring out the best ways to improve the current infrastructure. I mapped Minneapolis and Washington DC’s systems onto my map and it’s been very easy because a lot of these systems already have shapefiles on their websites while some even have direct links to ArcGIS maps.
I didn’t use any features that I didn’t know how to yet, so I don’t know what would be good for a level II training beyond ways to brainstorm projects that would work well with this tool?
