I spent my shift improving my personal website on WordPress. It was a big goal for me last year to work on it, but I never felt like I actually figured it out enough to a point of being able to make something I like. This yea has already been different so far, partly because I need to make a digital portfolio for my digital studies seminar. Progress has been going more smoothly this year for some reason, I’ve been able to set it up in a way that makes me excited to continue to make changes rather than being discouraged at how finnicky it is.

I tried to make the menu vertical on the left and did so with some CSS code but it quickly got very messy with the site identity and description being there. I figured out I could just make my own header template because I got the Elementor Pro version activated. This allowed me to put the widgets in whatever format I preferred which looked much nicer and will be easier to work with later on.

I’m going to be adding some of my school projects next to create the actual content of my portfolio!
