I met most of my goals this semester. The site is set up and next semester will be spent on organizing stuff and making it more visually appealing. I often got caught up in how big the tasks felt that I just wouldn’t start them because I was scared to mess up. Then when I did take that leap, it really wasn’t that bad. Next semester I want to be less hesitant about starting the work and just jump into it.
It’s been really great to get more familiar with WordPress through my Vivero project and my digital portfolio. I feel so much more comfortable with web design and finding the resources/answers I need. It would help to have dedicated time slots that I know will be Vivero work time each week.
I want to be more intentional about my trainings next semester as well. I want to pick tools that I’m invested in and genuinely want to learn. The self-led types of trainings are a bit harder because you’re more responsible for how it goes, so I’ll need to adjust my attitude towards them.
